"London calling Nottingham" - Clumber adds capital value to ERA team
by | August 27, 2020

Clumber Consultancy, the specialist Pensions and Employment Rights Act (ERA) service provider for the UK insolvency market, has announced that industry heavyweight Louisa Thomas has joined the Nottinghamshire-based firm.
Louisa will take advantage of major recent investments by Clumber in their technology infrastructure and security systems to work remotely from her London base, as part of the firm's rapidly growing ERA team.
Originally joining Clumber Consultancy in March 2020 as a consultant, Louisa is highly experienced in liaising with company directors and office holders to discuss employee consultation requirements prior to the commencement of an insolvency appointment.
Louisa began her insolvency career at BDO in London in 2002, spending seven years as part of the large trading administrations team before moving across to lead the national ERA team.
Speaking about her appointment, Paul Milton, who heads up Clumber Consultancy's ERA team from their Leicestershire office, which they opened in December 2019, said:
'Bringing someone of Louisa's calibre and experience into the team is a major coup for Clumber. She is highly experienced in a niche area of employment law and strives to resolve employment consultation requirements to the benefit of all stakeholders, mitigating Employment Tribunal cases for office holders.
With the addition of Louisa, we can not only access her huge talent and expertise, we can do it without needing a physical London base, thanks to our significant investments into our digital platforms, communications and leading security systems.'*
Louisa, who has worked on a number of high-profile cases including Dixon Motors, Allsports, Dawnay Day, A to Z Restaurants, Innovate Logistics and Dewhurst Butchers comments;
'Clumber Consultancy has forged a reputation for excellence on a national level in a highly competitive market and I am excited to be joining a company that is not only investing in new ways to communicate with clients but that champions flexible working across the team.
'This approach, combined with a culture to "do the right thing" for our clients and their employees is what is driving this business forward and I am delighted to be a part of this exciting journey.'
*In 2019, Clumber Consultancy became the first in their sector to achieve the Government's Cyber Essentials Plus and IASME Audited Gold Awards.
