Employees and clients of leading Nottinghamshire-based pensions in insolvency firm Clumber Consultancy have raised over £4000 for Cathedral Archer Project (CAP), the Sheffield-based charity that support the homeless to achieve a better life.
The money, raised throughout 2018, will be used to provide basic needs such as a safe haven, medical services and access to a range of programmes that help users of the Project develop structure in their lives.
Darren Toms, Managing Director at Clumber Consultancy said, “Every year, the team at Clumber and our clients, raise thousands of pounds for worthwhile causes. We were delighted to be able to support the great work of CAP. The sleepout we took part in on the coldest night in March highlighted the issues the homeless face on a daily basis, and the importance of the tireless work the Project carry out in the community. The stories we have heard have been incredibly sad but also inspiring and humbling.”
Lynne Urpeth of Cathedral Archer Project said, “We are grateful for the support Clumber Consultancy have provided over the past year and we are delighted they have been able to raise money to help us continue our important work. The continuity of our services and the interventions we make are heavily dependent on fundraising efforts and Clumber’s contribution will ensure those who are typically the most vulnerable in our society get the support they need.”
